Fusion Fall Festival 2007

The Little Mavs Maroon girls went 4-0 to sweep the competition and take home the Champions trophy. Our first game was against a level A team. This was our first test at moving up to the next level and the girls rose to the challenge and took the game 2-0.

Our next game was against a regular season opponent that we had split with. This was a hard fought game just like the previous 2 and the girls came out on top 2-1. Our last preliminary game was against another regular season opponent and the girls went out in dominating fashion winning 3-0.

The championship game was against the same team we had played on Saturday to a 2-1 victory and this game lived up to a true championship. We went ahead 1-0 in the 4th minute of the game. After many attempts by the other team to come from behind we were able to hold them off and take home the trophy. Congratulations to all the girls on a great year and a great tournament!
